Turning on the TV and Mac mini

  1. Turn TV on using the Power Button on the front of the TV, next to the red/blue light.

  2. Ensure the TV Source shows as HDMI 2.

    1. If you are unsure, use the Touch Pen to press the Up arrow at the bottom middle of the TV screen.

      1. This gesture will only work on the home screen, you will need to press the home button to the right of the screen to be brought to the home screen.

    2. Change this to HDMI 2.

  3. Check the wireless keyboard is turned on.

  4. Use the mouse trackpad and/or press a keyboard button to wake up the Mac Mini.

  5. Wait up to 15 seconds and you should see the login screen or desktop.

    1. If not, see Troubleshooting – no login screen or desktop section below.

  6. Log in with the username svi and password svi

  7. Transfer documents or presentations to the Mac mini by using the USB cable.

    1. Alternatively, if you do not have a USB drive available, open Firefox and sign into your email/OneDrive (www.office.com).

    2. You can mount your network drives by navigating to Finder > Go > Connect to Server > smb://groupsad.svi.edu.au/groupsfiles or smb://homes.svi.edu.au/USERNAME.
