Sentrient Learning Management System (LMS)

The Sentrient Learning Management System (LMS) is our online system for providing training resources and workplace policies.

Pre-requisite: Multi-Factor Authentication

You must have Multi-Factor Authentication set up for your SVI account. This is done using the Authenticator app on your phone.

If you have yet to set this up, full instructions on how to do this are located here:
https://svimrit.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SI/pages/344883201

If you are a new starter to SVI, a Sentrient account will be created for you by People and Culture. It may take a day for this for be created. If you have trouble logging into Sentrient after this time please contact People and Culture on hr-assist@svi.edu.au for assistance.

Accessing the LMS

In any web browser, navigate to https://svi.sentrient.online/Dashboard

You should then see the following screen, with the option to log in with Office 365 Account. If you are already signed in with your account, you will be directed to the Sentrient dashboard. If you have not already signed in your will need to sign in with your Microsoft account (****@svi.edu.au)

If you have already signed in to one of these forms earlier then you may get directed straight in to the LMS

In the username field, you need to enter your “UPN”. This is your username followed by @svi.edu.au.

This is not your email address.

Your username is the account you use to sign in to a computer. Some staff will have 8-character usernames that are different to their email address, and some staff will have a different email domain.

The large SVI logo at the top of the page should help you to remember that you need to use @svi.edu.au.

You may be prompted to authenticate with the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone. Complete the prompt as directed.
