Yealink Handset guide:
Logging in to the Yealink deskphones
The Yealink deskphones are set up as “Hotdesk” phones. This means any user can log in and out of any handset, as long as you know your Extension number and Voicemail PIN. Both of these will be in your welcome email you received from SVI PBX. If you require this to be resent, please submit an IT Request.
On the top left of the phone screen, you will see either of the following:
If someone has logged into the phone, you will see their extension number and name.
If it is not logged in, you will see HD000##, which is the Hotdesk number that has been assigned
To log in to the phone:
If the phone is currently logged in, press the Logout button on the right of screen
Pick up the handset and dial *77*[your extension]* and then press the Send button.
For example, if your extension number is 100, you would type *77*100*
The automatic operator will ask for your Voicemail PIN, followed by the hash key (#)
You will then be logged into the phone. Your extension number will appear on the top left of the phone screen
To log out of the phone
Press the Log Out button on the right side of the screen.
If you can’t see the Log Out button, you may need to swipe from left to right on the screen.
You can also pick up the handset and dial *77*5*
