VPN for SVI devices - Windows

SVI IT does not permit the installation of the VPN on personal devices for security reasons.

This article will cover how to connect to the SVI VPN while off-site.

SVI has two VPN clients, both are still valid for use, however we’re slowly moving to a new client. The instructions will contain information for both clients.

If the VPN client is missing on your device, Sophos Connect can be installed via Company Portal.

If Company Portal is missing from your device, please lodge an IT Request.

Instructions (Sophos VPN Client)

  1. The Sophos VPN Client may be showing in your taskbar with the icon of traffic lights, as shown below:

  2. To connect, right click the icon and select Connect

  3. You will be prompted for your SVI username & password.

  4. While connecting, the traffic lights will turn yellow before turning green on successful connection.

  5. You will be able to connect to SVI network shares as required.

Instructions (Sophos Connect)
