Open the ScanSnap software as well as the lid of the scanner - you should see the small touchscreen on the scanner light up

Place your pages to be scanned face down in the feeder of the scanner

The screen on the scanner will look like this

In the software or on the scanner, choose the Scan to Folder option

In the new window, you will need to select a location to save the scan file to - click Browse. Then select where you want to save file.
