ScanSnap - Using the IX1600 Document Scanner
A Fujitsu ix1600 document scanner is connected to the PC in the NRL mailroom to allow for the quick scanning and sending of A4 documents.
Ensure your original pages are placed in the feeder facing away from you
Instructions
Open the ScanSnap software as well as the lid of the scanner - you should see the small touchscreen on the scanner light up |

Place your pages to be scanned face down in the feeder of the scanner |

The screen on the scanner will look like this |

In the software or on the scanner, choose the Scan to Folder option |

In the new window, you will need to select a location to save the scan file to - click Browse. Then select where you want to save file. |
