These instructions cover any first time setup steps required to turn on functionality such as Searchable PDFs (OCR).

 Instructions

You can find the ScanSnap Home shortcut located on the Desktop.

 

Navigate to Settings > Scan Setting

 

Select the Edit button in the top right hand side of the menu.

 

Select Scan to Folder and change the options to match the ones shown here.

 

Select Option and tick Convert to Searchable PDF

Click OK and select Save
