Install PaperCut Print Deploy App - Windows 10 and 11 only

The Papercut Print Deploy app will allow a Windows user to add and remove any of the networked SVI printers across our different buildings. So if you are working in a different building or floor for the day, you can easily add a printer in that building and then remove that printer it when you go back to your usual building or floor.

Steps

  1. Install the Papercut Print Deploy app from Company Portal (see this guide for full steps on installing software https://svimrit.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/kb/view/1780876921)

     

  2. Once installed, click the app icon in the system tray in the botton right of the taskbar

     

  3. Click View my printers

     

  4. When the app opens, if it is the first time you have used it your list of printers will be empty

     

  5. Click the Add printers tab

  6. Find the printer you want to add and click install

     

  7. The first time you use this app, you will be prompted to Sign in - click the sign in option and enter your SVI username and password

     

  8. You will see the Installing status

     

  9. Once the install is completed, go to the My Printers tab and you will see the newly added printer

    If you want to remove the printer, click the “bin” icon

  10. You will now be able to print as normal to the newly added printer when you are on site.

Please note that when you your device is no longer connected to the SVI network (wired or wireless), the printers are automatically removed and are then added again when you connected to the SVI network again.
