The Learning Management System (LMS) is our online system for providing training resources and workplace policies. We use a software called Moodle to run our LMS.
Pre-requisite: Multi-Factor Authentication
You must have Multi-Factor Authentication set up for your SVI account. This is done using the Authenticator app on your phone.

Accessing the LMS
In any web browser, navigate to https://lms.svi.edu.au. You should then see the following screen, with fields titled username and verification code:  If you have already signed in to one of these forms earlier then you may get directed straight in to the LMS |
In the username field, you need to enter your “UPN”. This is your username followed by @svi.edu.au. This is not your email address. Your username is the account you use to sign in to a computer. Some staff will have 8-character usernames that are different to their email address, and some staff will have a different email domain. The large SVI logo at the top of the page should help you to remember that you need to use @svi.edu.au. |
In the verification code field, you will need to enter the 6 digit One Time Password from your Authenticator app on your phone. Open the Authenticator app and click on the St Vincent’s Institute profile. There will be a 6 digit code that updates every 30 seconds. This is what you will need to put in the verification code field before the timer runs out and a new code is generated. |
