AV Equipment

This room is equipped with:

• 65inch Panasonic display screen

To use the equipment, you will need to BYOD (bring your own device). 

Turning on the display

1. Turn display on using the power button on the rear right of the display.

2. Ensure the TV Source shows as HDMI 1 on the bottom, centre of the screen

   1. You can switch the source using the Input button on the rear

Connecting your laptop

1. Connect your laptop to the HDMI cable which extend from the display (if your device does do not have this port, you will need an adaptor which are available to loan from IT)

2. On your laptop, set your display settings to mirror on the large screen

   1. Windows – press and hold the Windows key and P – select Duplicate. 

   2. MacOS – System Settings>displays>display settings>select mirror

Troubleshooting

No display on large screen

• Ensure the TV is powered on

• Press the INPUT button on the rear right of the display and ensure HDMI 1 is selected

• Ensure your device is projecting to the display as per display settings above

Audio issues

The Speaker Output should be the Panasonic display

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable if you are not getting audio

• Adjust the volume on your device

If you are having any issues, please speak with the IT team. Do not move or disconnect any of the AV equipment unless asked to by IT.
